2025-2026 To Be Dennis Houser’s Farewell Season

As the Prescott Chorale begins its 10th anniversary season, we pause to honor the extraordinary artistry and vision of our founding Artistic Director, Dennis Houser. From the very first downbeat, Dennis has shaped not only the sound of this ensemble but the spirit of its community. His deep musical knowledge, abiding faith, and unwavering passion have guided the Chorale through years of choral excellence. He’s brought joy to each performance and inspired singers and audiences alike with his love for the choral art.

To follow in his footsteps will be both a daunting and essential task. At the end of this 2025-2026 season, the role he created and fulfilled with such distinction will open to a new chapter—one that will carry forward the tradition he began.

New Prescott Chorale Accompanist

We are delighted to welcome Heidi Pierce to the Prescott Chorale family as Accompanist!

Heidi Pierce developed her musicianship from an early age under the guidance of her parents, both accomplished musicians and educators. She earned a degree in Music Education and later completed a Master of Arts in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, with piano as her instrument.

For ten years, Heidi served on the music faculty at Riverdale High School in Portland, Oregon, where she taught Choir, Band, and Music Theory. Alongside her teaching career, Heidi maintained an active performance life as a collaborative pianist and accompanist, working regularly with vocalists, instrumentalists, choirs, ensembles, studio musicians and a variety of recording projects.
