Quotes from our singers about the experience…
From Jenny Sutch
A farewell from the Big Apple. What a beautiful gift to compliment an ethereal experience. To experience the magic of unity in a land so divided…Living frequency…”What binds us is in our heartbeat”
What an Ethereal Gift, a Living Frequency. To Experience the Magic of Unity in a Land Divided.
‘My Soul Soars, Free, on Wings of Sound'”
From Karen Magdaleno
This was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am so happy that I seized the moment. There were two conductors for our concert, Edith Copley and Joshua Pakli. Carnegie Hall itself was beautiful. The first time I sang I felt like the sound rolled up around my head and around me before going out to the auditorium. It was magical for me. I am very thankful to have had this opportunity.”
From Lisa Wise
Preparing for singing at Carnegie Hall was quite an experience, partly with familiarity with Dennis and Heidi, and then of course partly with two conductors I had not met, but enjoyed learning from. But nothing can compare to the surreal feeling of walking out on an iconic stage-, the gorgeous red velvet seats contrasted with the ivory of every other surface, and the joy of bringing music to an audience. It was incredible.”
From Melanie McCally
Singing on the Carnegie Hall stage with a combined choir was an unforgettable experience that reinforced the power of music to bring people together. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent the Prescott Chorale in such a memorable performance.”
